Rosie Alice Huntington-Whiteley[3] (born 18 April 1987) is an English model and actress, best known for modelling for Victoria's Secret and for replacing Megan Fox as the lead female character in the film Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), part of the Transformers film series.[4]


Transformers: Dark of the Moon Box Office Update News Category: 'Transformers' Paramount Pictures’ Transformers: Dark of the Moon continued dominating the box office on Thursday and Friday, earning $21.5 million and $32.9 million for the two days domestically. That means the Michael Bay film earned $97.6 million in the Tuesday night through Friday frame. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen had earned $127.9 million in the same amount of time (that movie did not have Tuesday night previews).

Dark of the Moon is on track to reach $180 million in its seven-day domestic debut and could reach $350 million worldwide. The film has made 60% of its domestic gross from 3D screenings and has received an ‘A’ CinemaScore from audiences.

The movie, starring Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey, Alan Tudyk and John Turturro, had earned $66 million internationally through Thursday.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon Opens to $37.3 Million Day One News Category: 'Transformers' After earning $5.5 million at the 9pm Tuesday night screenings, Transformers: Dark of the Moon added $37.3 million its first full day of release on Wednesday for a domestic total of $42.8 million.

The opening is quite a bit lower than the $62 million that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen earned its first day (also a Wednesday) and closer to the first Transformers’ $27.9 million it earned its opening day (a Tuesday).

Internationally, “Dark of the Moon” earned $32.5 million its first day and has brought in $36.6 million including Tuesday previews. The worldwide total is $79.4 million so far.
